King Charles has launched a new whisky for royal fans to purchase, just in time for the festive period.
The single-malt whisky is made with barley grown on the King’s Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire.
Priced at £100 a bottle, fans can pre-order Highgrove Evergreen English Single Malt Whisky ahead of its release on December 4.
“Highgrove Evergreen English Whisky is the latest collaboration between Highgrove Gardens and Cotswolds Distillery, crafted to honour the tradition of English single malt,” the estate announced.

“This premium whisky is made from Plumage Archer barley grown at the Highgrove Estate and matured in an exclusive pairing of bourbon and STR red wine casks.
“The result is a rich and refined spirit layered with orchard fruits, honeyed malt, and subtle notes of red berries and spice.”
The whisky is presented in “a beautifully illustrated gift box” featuring artwork from the King himself, “Highgrove House, a view from the Wildflower Meadow.”
The 46 per cent spirit includes honey and orchard fruits with “red berries, toasted oak and gentle spice.”
Fans can already purchase a Balmoral Scotch from the estate shop, but unlike the Highgrove whisky, it is not made from the King’s barley.
It is instead produced at the Royal Lochnagar Distillery, located a mile away from Balmoral Castle.
The Highgrove Gardens website also sells traditional Scottish whisky in 70cl bottles, priced at £49.95 each.

GETTYFor royal fans with a higher budget, there is also a Ballindalloch Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky available in 50cl bottles, priced at £375 each.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that the King’s wealth had increased by £30million to £640million in the past year.
This sum makes him twice as wealthy as his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.
The late Queen was said to have £370million when she died in 2022.
The King gains income from the Duchy of Lancaster and the £1.1billion Crown Estate.
Strict rules are in place which limit his ability to sell or profit from them; instead, he uses the money to fund his public work as the King and his living costs.

The Sunday Times alleged that the King’s investment portfolio is valued somewhere around £125million, and the horses he inherited from the Queen at £27million.
There are also tours that are now given to visitors of Balmoral Castle and Dumfries House, as well as luxury dinners at the Castle of Mey, to provide additional income.
The dinners are priced at £595, which includes a champagne tour as well as a meal, with accommodation at the estate’s Granary Lodge.
