Meghan Markle has shared Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s letter to Father Christmas in the first official trailer of her Christmas Netflix special.

The mother-of-two revealed the adorable note from her two children, aged six and four.

The letter had been printed on a mug in the Duchess of Sussex’s signature calligraphy, with only part of the text visible, reading “have been good” and “travel safely”.

It was signed off with “Archive & Lili” as Meghan also shared her search for the perfect Christmas tree as she walked through a farm in a casual jeans and jacket combination.

The trailer opens with the 44-year-old saying: “I love the holiday season.

“It’s about finding time to connect with the people you love. Embracing traditions and making new ones.”

The new footage shows the former Suits star trying her hand at baking, as well as decorating cups and hanging wreaths.

The Duchess of Sussex captioned the video: “Unwrap the magic and let the festivities begin when With Love, Meghan Holiday Celebration arrives December 3 on @netflix.”

Prince Harry is spotted briefly in the footage as the household prepares for the festive season.

Meghan continued: “Being a host or a hostess is all about making people feel comfortable, and you can do things that make people feel a lot more seen.

“Let the festivities commence, and embrace the special touches that bring you joy.”

There is a comedic moment as the duchess tries to pull a Christmas cracker as she shouts in excitement, ultimately getting the short side of the cracker.

Meghan plugged a trio of her As Ever jams, priced at £27 ($36), and pushed fans to “unwrap the magic”.

Similar to her main series of With Love, Meghan, the Christmas edition was filmed in Montecito, where the family lives.

The show is not recorded at the Sussexes’ home, but at a £6.2million farmhouse, owned by philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla.

The couple live near the accommodation, in their £11.1million home, according to Decor.

This will be the third edition of the With Love, Meghan series that the duchess has released.

The first season came out in March to reasonable success, ranking 383rd in the official ranking for the first six months of the year on Netflix.

Her trailer ends with a short promotion for the duchess’s As Ever brand, which was dealt a blow recently when Netflix revealed it would not be stocking it in its new store.

The store is set to open on December 11 in Dallas, Texas, and has a lot of themed food and drinks for Netflix properties.
