Royal insiders have praised Prince William’s “consistency” as he dealt with multiple events amid Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s royal titles being removed.

The Prince of Wales was in Brazil to hand out his Earthshot Prize at the start of the week and attended Cop30 on behalf of King Charles, before heading back to the UK for an emotional Remembrance Sunday celebration.

The prince did all of this whilst his uncle was having his royal titles removed and being served notice on his Royal Lodge home due to his continued links with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Royal insiders believe William’s steadiness at the events showcased how the future of the monarchy is turning to the 43-year-old, as they revealed: “There was pressure from William, who would not want to inherit the headache.”

William founded the Earthshot Prize in 2020 to shine a light on the ways we can create solutions to the world’s biggest climate issues, and during his time in Brazil, he spent his time with innovators, world leaders, and young activists, putting his words into action.

“He’s a very credible voice,” the UK’s ambassador to Brazil, Stephanie Al-Qaq, revealed to People. “He’s more than ready to step into that space.”

Former New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, also added: “He’s pretty consistent. It’s been, ‘How do we do more? How do we scale? How do we better support the finalists?’”

Andrew had his royal titles removed at the end of October, a decision William agreed with. An insider revealed that William has been aiming for consistency during a difficult time for the royal family.

They said: “William has a strong personal core, such as constancy, consistency, steadiness and a safe place for the country to reach out to.”

While the decision was ultimately made to remove the disgraced former royal of his titles, many believed the decision should have come sooner, something an insider believes William also felt, as they said: “He would want it dealt with as quickly as possible.”

Glowing comments surrounding William came just a day after Andrew applied to close one of the charities.

The 65-year-old has requested to dissolve Pitch@Palace Global Limited.

His charity was set up to help close the gap between start-up founders and their potential investors and industry leaders.

According to the former prince, the initiative has helped to create 3,000 jobs since it was launched.

A founding partner of Pitch@Palace China, and a reportedly close friend of Andrew, was identified as an alleged spy and was banned from entering the UK by the Home Office.

The company started to unravel after the disgraced former duke’s controversial Newsnight interview, where he faced questions about his links with Epstein.

After being removed from his Royal Lodge home, Andrew is set to move onto the private Sandringham Estate following the decision from the Palace.
