After years of pleading from devoted fans, Burger King UK has finally answered their prayers.

The much-loved Big King burger has made a triumphant return to menus, bringing along an exciting new companion: the Big King Double Royale.

The Burger King “legend” features two flame-grilled beef patties stacked high, topped with double layers of melted American cheese, all nestled in a toasted sesame bun.

Its new sibling, the Big King Double Royale, swaps the beef for two crispy golden chicken pieces. Both are complete with lashings of the “iconic” pickled Big King sauce, a “signature” flavour fans adore.

The relaunch comes at the perfect time as requests for the Big King’s return have surged by an impressive 70 per cent this year alone.

To celebrate the “true Christmas miracle”, customers can snag two Big King Double Royales for the price of one exclusively through the Burger King app today and tomorrow.

The deal runs alongside other promotions, including £7 off orders over £20 on Just Eat until November. 24.

But it’s not just burgers making headlines at the restaurant chain, as Burger King is also rolling out its first-ever cheesecake bars because “no feast is complete without dessert”.

Promising to satisfy any sweet tooth, the Chocolate Brownie variety combines a crunchy chocolate biscuit base with rich brownie pieces and smooth chocolate cheesecake, all topped with chocolate chips.

Burger King fans have been told to ‘expect gooey decadence’

Meanwhile, the Gooey Salted Caramel option features creamy vanilla cheesecake swirled with golden caramel ribbons on a buttery biscuit foundation.

Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake is described as “the perfect fusion of textures” and a “choco-lover’s dream”.

As for the caramel version, Burger King told fans to “expect gooey decadence, a hint of salt, and a seriously creamy finish”.

Both desserts are available nationwide and through delivery services, marking Burger King’s first venture into cheesecake bars across the UK.

Burger King’s new launches arrive just days after Subway launched this year’s festive menu.

Boasting an array of new subs, wraps, jacket potatoes, and cookies, the sandwich chain promises the “ultimate winter indulgence” plus a brand-new festive bread.
