Cambridgeshire train attack victim describes confrontation with alleged attacker | UK News

A man who was injured in a knife attack on a train in Cambridgeshire on Saturday evening has described his confrontation with the alleged attacker.

In an interview with the ‘s Lucy Manning, Stephen Crean says the attacker asked him: “Do you want to die?”

The incident occurred on a train travelling from Doncaster to London. Eleven people received treatment in hospital following the attack. One – a member of the train staff – is in a “critical but stable condition”.

A 32-year-old man, Anthony Williams, has been remanded in custody, charged with 10 counts of attempted murder.
