Farmer and pumpkin patch owner Jonathan Lukies has warned that generations of “blood, sweat and tears” on family farms will be ousted by foreign money under Labour.

Speaking to GB News presenter Lee Anderson, the farmer condemned Labour’s treatment of agricultural workers after the Chancellor ploughed on with her plans to impose the highly controversial inheritance tax.

“Generations and generations of blood, sweat and tears is that they’re going to be bought out by big foreign money rather than the family farm,” he warned.

Looking forward to the Autumn Budget, Mr Lukies added: “The Labour Party don’t seem to like farmers very much. They’re not treating them very well.

“It doesn’t matter what business you’re in, and I’m actually in hospitality as well as farming, but we are being smashed and there is no incentive to run your own business.”
