Adam Brooks has doubled down on his criticism of Sir Keir Starmer, declaring he is the “most unpopular Prime Minister we have ever seen”.

Speaking to GB News, the commentator highlighted that the historically low polling is a result of Britons being branded “far-right” for their views on illegal migration.

In a new Ipsos poll, Sir Keir is now the most unpopular Prime Minister on record, with his satisfaction rate at -66 per cent.

It is the lowest satisfaction rating recorded by Ipsos for any Prime Minister since 1977, worse than previous lows recorded by Rishi Sunak just months before the general election.

Discussing the polling, Mr Brooks told GB News: “The views that I hold are those views held by tens of millions of people.

“What Starmer has done today, he has just labelled tens of millions of Britons as far right or extreme for their views on immigration.

“There is a reason why I’ve been saying for the last four or five months that Keir Starmer is the most hated Prime Minister of our lifetime, and that’s proven with his -66 rating from Ipsos.”

He fumed: “He is the most unpopular Prime Minister we’ve ever seen, and that is because he treats us with contempt.”

Highlighting other Labour figures who have branded his views far-right, Mr Brooks called out political commentator and fellow panellist Matthew Stadlen for his remarks about his views.

Mr Brooks explained: “No disrespect, but you have people like Matthew on social media, describing people with views that I have as far right.

“And you also have, Bill Ramell, that I normally sit on this panel with, who openly declared that I’m far-right for my immigration views.”

Defending the Prime Minister, Mr Stadlen claimed that Sir Keir “effectively said Reform voters weren’t racist”.

Mr Stadlen told GB News: “I don’t think his advisers would have been pleased with him saying that this particular policy is racist. I don’t think that is the sort of language, certainly in this context, that the Prime Minister should have used.

“Particularly given it already is being under consideration by the Labour Government to double the time it takes for people to achieve indefinite leave to remain.”

He added: “I suspect that there were alarm bells ringing, and although he said Reform voters weren’t racist effectively, I think his advisers will have been speaking to him afterwards.”

Speaking at the Labour Party conference, Sir Keir labelled Reform’s migration policy as “racist and immoral” for wanting to remove people who are “lawfully here”.

The Prime Minister agreed that he believes illegal migrants should be removed, but claims illegal deportations are a “completely different thing,” adding, “to reach into people who are lawfully here and start removing them”.
