Prince Harry appears to have taken a fresh swipe at his brother, Prince William, during a candid disclosure about reconciliation with his family.

The Duke of Sussex was reflecting on his time away from the royal fold and his future within the Royal Family.

Harry made the admission while speaking during his surprise trip to Ukraine, which followed a four-day visit in the UK.

While in London, the duke briefly reunited with King Charles – fuelling speculation of rapprochement between the estranged father and son.

“I have enjoyed the week… I have always loved the UK and I always will love the UK,” Harry said.

“It’s been good to reconnect with the causes I am passionate about. I have been able to spend some time with people that I have known for so long. It is hard to do it from far away,” he added.

While the warm words suggested Harry was seeking the reconciliation he has previously pined for, he also appeared to refresh some cutting criticism of his older brother, Prince William.

“You cannot have reconciliation before you have truth,” the duke warned.

This remark echoed accusations he had made in his infamous 2022 Netflix documentary, Harry and Meghan.

In the programme, Harry alleged that the Firm was “happy to lie to protect my brother” while Meghan had been “fed to the wolves”.

The duke also made several claims that William had lied and planted stories to his and his wife’s detriment.

His latest comments could suggest Harry has not yet fully made peace with his brother and holds to his previous allegations.

During his candid disclosure in Ukraine, Harry asserted: “It’s not stubbornness, it is having principles.”

To that end, the duke was adamant that his past criticisms of the royal family were just.

He defended his explosive 2023 manifesto Spare, in which he made many bruising comments about William, as necessary.

“It was a series of corrections to stories already out there. One point of view had been put out and it needed to be corrected,” Harry told The Guardian.

“It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear,” he declared.

The duke added: “It is not about revenge, it is about accountability.”

On Prince William’s end, it appears the future King is similarly slow to thaw.

Recently, a source suggested Harry’s trip to the UK had left the Prince of Wales “more determined than ever” to cut him off from royal affairs.
