The three-vehicle crash happened at about 11:30 on Friday

A 59-year old biker has died after a crash involving two other vehicles on the A82 in Stirlingshire.

The incident happened on the A82 near Tyndrum at about 11:30 on Friday, close to where the road crosses the West Highland Way.

The incident involved the man’s Suzuki DL150 motorbike, as well as a white Ford Puma car and a grey Volkswagen Transporter van.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. No one from the other vehicles was injured.

The road was closed to allow for an investigation and fully reopened around 20:15.

Sgt Louise Beale, of the Road Policing Unit in Stirling, said inquiries into the crash are ongoing and anyone with dashcam footage should contact Police Scotland.
