Former Westlife star Brian McFadden married his partner of eight years, Danielle Parkinson, in a beach ceremony at Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay, Cornwall on Saturday.

The 45-year-old singer tied the knot with Danielle, a former PE teacher, in an intimate ceremony on the sand surrounded by close family and friends, taking to Instagram last night to share snaps from the occasion.

Their four-year-old daughter, Ruby, played a special role in the celebration as the flower girl, wearing a white dress and cardigan.

This marks the third marriage for McFadden, who was previously wed to Kerry Katona from 2002 to 2006 and Irish model Vogue Williams from 2012 to 2017.

The newlyweds celebrated their nuptials with guests at the venue’s restaurant overlooking the sea, entering their reception to Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours) as the crowd cheered.

Danielle wore a two-piece wedding dress featuring a scalloped lace crop top paired with a full-length skirt and train.

She styled her hair in tousled waves with flowers and pearls, creating a “boho chic vibe”, and opted for natural makeup with a soft glam bridal look.

McFadden chose a relaxed look in a beige linen suit jacket paired with white trousers and a white t-shirt, perfect for their summer beach wedding.

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

The couple first met in 2016 after being introduced by singer Cole Paige, and McFadden proposed three years later in December 2019. They had originally planned to marry earlier, but were forced to postpone due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2021, they welcomed their daughter Ruby Jean, a moment of joy following two heartbreaking miscarriages.

McFadden also shares two daughters from his first marriage to Katona – Molly Marie, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 21, who attended the wedding.

Brian previously told EVOKE: “It’s a small ceremony. We want it to be just about family and friends, just having a day on the beach.”

Katona has spoken warmly about her ex-husband’s new wife, revealing their positive relationship. “I get on really well with his fiancée. I think I might have a girl crush on her,” she shared.

She praised Parkinson’s role as stepmother to her daughters with McFadden: “I always go off of what my girls say for a stepmum, and she’s the best stepmum.”

Katona revealed she sent Parkinson a Mother’s Day message, adding: “I think she’s lovely and they’ve got a beautiful little girl, Ruby. I wish them nothing but joy and happiness.”

McFadden shared the first photos from the wedding on Instagram, receiving congratulations from fans and celebrities, including Gemma Collins and Storm Keating.

The timing of his nuptials came at a particularly poignant time for McFadden, who’d taken to Instagram the day before his wedding with a tribute to Liverpool forward Diogo Jota.

Jota, 28, died last week following a car accident in Spain, less than two weeks after he’d enjoyed a wedding on his own with his childhood sweetheart.

“I’m getting married in the morning. But I go to bed tonight with a heavy heart thinking of Jota’s family and loved ones,” Mcfadden penned on the social media platform.

“Also all his millions of fans and Liverpool supporters. Life is so short. Appreciate being alive and healthy x,” he signed off.
