Brooklyn Beckham has posted a heartfelt birthday tribute to his father-in-law Nelson Peltz on Instagram, despite failing to acknowledge his own father David Beckham’s recent milestones.
The 26-year-old shared a photograph on his Instagram Stories showing himself with wife Nicola Peltz and her father, writing: “Happy birthday Nelson x we love you” followed by a heart emoji.
The timing of the post has drawn attention, coming just weeks after Brooklyn noticeably failed to publicly congratulate his father on his 50th birthday in May or acknowledge his knighthood in the King’s Birthday Honours List earlier this month.
Brooklyn also remained silent on Father’s Day, despite his parents tagging him in multiple posts on social media.

The hot sauce company owner’s tribute to Nelson Peltz included a beaming snapshot where Nicola had her arms draped around her father’s shoulders whilst Brooklyn stood in the background.
This public display of affection contrasts sharply with his absence from David Beckham’s landmark 50th birthday festivities in London and Paris.
Brooklyn was also notably missing from his mother Victoria’s 51st birthday celebrations.
According to reports, the former aspiring photographer failed to even congratulate his father after news emerged of his knighthood.
His wife Nicola shared her own tribute, writing: “Happy birthday to my king!! I’m so lucky to call you my dad, and you’re the most loving and supportive dad I could ever dream of!”
The alleged family feud has intensified in recent months, with Brooklyn missing all four parties thrown for his father’s birthday celebrations.
He has been posting heartfelt tributes to his wife, recently stating that he would “always choose her.”
In May, Brooklyn shared a video with Nicola on Instagram, writing: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.”
According to The Mail, the situation has become so severe that Brooklyn is no longer on speaking terms with his siblings, who reportedly refer to him as “The Hostage.”
The rift reportedly stems partly from a falling out between Nicola and Kim Turnbull, who was in a relationship with Brooklyn’s younger brother Romeo.
Brooklyn has been backed by his godfather Sir Elton John and husband David Furnish, who commented on the couple’s anniversary post.
Elton wrote: “Happy Anniversary to the sweetest, most loving couple,” whilst his husband added: “Happy Anniversary to the gorgeous couple.”
However, Victoria and David Beckham failed to comment on or like their son’s anniversary post.
Brooklyn, who took on the Peltz surname after marrying Nicola in 2022, has been living in the US and growing increasingly close to the Peltz family. The couple often spends holidays and family occasions with Nicola’s side.
