Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, have issued a touching personal message to Prince William to mark Father’s Day.

The sweet tribute comes a day after they joined other members of the Royal Family to celebrate King Charles’ official birthday celebrations at Trooping the Colour.

Prince William and Princess Kate’s three children personally signed off the statement which accompanied two pictures of the trio.

“Happy Father’s Day, Papa (before and after!) We love you! G, C & L,” they wrote.

George, Charlotte and Louis children signed off the post with their first name initials and a gleaming love heart emoji.

In the first image, they could be seen posing with William with his arms around them against a charming garden backdrop. The second, posted in black and white, showed the three children embracing their father as they rolled around amongst long grass and daffodils.

The pictures had been taken earlier this year in Norfolk by the photographer Josh Shinner.

Their Father’s Day message came as they supported their grandfather, King Charles, during Trooping the Colour on Saturday.

The family were also seen cuddling in a intimate second photo.

During the ceremony, Kate, George, Charlotte and Louis waved to fans as they rode in an open top Ascot Landau carriage down The Mall.

William took on a separate role during the Trooping the Colour from his wife and children, riding alongside Princess Anne and Prince Edward in full military regalia.

The Waleses were fully reunited during the iconic Buckingham Palace balcony appearance to wave at fans and watch an RAF flypast.

Later, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a sweet behind-the-scenes family photo to social media.

It showed William and Kate along with George, Charlotte and Louis resplendent in their Trooping the Colour finery.

The post was captioned: “Another brilliant day at Trooping the Colour for His Majesty’s Birthday Parade. Thank you to everybody who came, and to all those who took part.”

The photograph was taken at the family’s Kensington Palace home, with the royals still dressed in their ceremonial attire from the day’s celebrations.

Kate remained in her aquamarine ensemble, featuring a Catherine Walker coat dress.

The Princess of Wales wore a matching blue hat by Juliette Botterill and earrings that belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II. She accessorised with the Irish Guards Regimental Brooch.

Princess Charlotte matched her mother in a similar green-blue dress with a white bow in her hair and a diamond horseshoe brooch with a special meaning.

The piece originally belonged to the Queen Mother, who was first photographed wearing the jewellery in 1929, nearly a century ago.

Queen Elizabeth II gifted the historic brooch to her great-granddaughter, who first wore it publicly at the late monarch’s funeral.

Prince George and Louis wore matching dark suits and red ties.
