Jason Statham reunites with his director of last year’s The Beekeeper, David Ayer, for his new action-thriller A Working Man.
Another action icon, Sylvester Stallone, also wrote the screenplay, as he was previously developing an adaptation of Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel Levon’s Trade as a TV series.
While that never came to fruition, Stallone’s script was ultimately used for this movie, which is set to hit theaters March 28.
Statham stars as the blue-collar hero Levon Cade, who on the surface appears to be a regular construction worker, which comes after Kristin Cavalarri calling Statham her ‘hottest hook-up.’
Though what most don’t know is he was previously a counter-terrorism specialist who is as deadly as they come.
Cade must put those skills back to the test when his boss (Michael Pena) asks him to find his daughter Jenny (Arianna Rivas) as he uncovers a massive human trafficking ring.

The trailer starts on a construction site, where Cade tells his men that today will be hard, ‘but let’s all go home with the same amount of fingers that we came with.’
He tells his boss that when his wife passed away and he left the Royal Marines, ‘a lot of people would have given up on me. You gave me a job, you were patient with me. You, Carla, Jenny, you’re my family.’
Then one day on the construction site, he sees one of his workers getting roughed up, as he steps in and takes care of them with ease.
His boss’ daughter Jenny asks, ‘Levon, was that some military s**t?’ but he tells her, ‘Hey, you didn’t see anything,’ as she asks, ‘Hey, just get my back if I ever need it.’
Carla (Noemi Gonzalez) reveals that Jenny went missing after going out with her friends on Friday night.
Carla and his boss say the police have no resources to deal with these cases, saying, ‘they just file a report and forget about it,’ as they ask him to find their daughter.
He tracks down a den of thieves and takes them all out, as he uncovers that this is a human trafficking operation.
Levon goes to see his blind war buddy Gunny (David Harbour) as he shows him several weapons, including an M14 ‘pulled directly from Sadaam’s palace,’ with the high-tech addition of a Bluetooth scope.

Levon learns that the mob and gangs and corrupt government officials are all in on this organization.
The trailer winds down with a number of action-packed shots as he ties up one of the trafficking ringleaders to a chair… precariously dangling over a pool.
‘Who are you? What are you?’ the man says, but Levon just cuts the rope, sending him into the pool to drown, as the trailer comes to and end.
