Power Rangers actor Hector David Rivera Wednesday entered a guilty plea to misdemeanor battery in connection with an attack on a man using a walker in a Nampa, Idaho parking lot last July.
Rivera, 35, received a sentence of 180 days in jail in Canyon County Court, TMZ reported after reviewing legal documents in the case, noting that the Judge Matthew B. Schelstrate suspended 135 days of it.
Rivera, who goes by the stage name Hector David Jr., must maintain a clean behavioral record or else he will have to serve more than the 45 days he is slated to remain in custody for, according to the outlet.
Rivera, a native of Connecticut, was also sentenced to supervised probation for a two-year span, and to finish 100 hours of community service.
Rivera is best known for portraying the green Power Ranger in the reboot of the popular kids’ TV show and multiple video games.
The Nampa Police Department said in the incident, Rivera approached a man in his 60s, following a verbal altercation about a parking spot on July 26, 2024, KTVB previously reported.

Rivera had initially parked in a handicapped spot, leading to the altercation, the Idaho Statesman reported in August after reviewing records in the case.
Footage showed Rivera storming towards the man before shoving him on the arm, which sent the man sprawling, with his walker clattering down after him.
Rivera was then seen pointing aggressively at the man (who was on the ground) before hopping into his car and driving away, the station reported.
Police said he drove away following the dispute.
The victim was helped up and was not hurt.
Authorities said in a statement on X/Twitter at the time, ‘Today at 11:45, in front of District 208, the man in this video pushed an elderly man to the ground after they exchanged words about a parking issue.
‘After pushing the man down, the suspect left him on the ground, drove away in a raised up black 4 door truck w/Texas license plate.’
Police showed an image of Rivera clad in a New England Patriots football jersey in an effort to identify him.

Rivera was subsequently charged with battery days later; he entered a not guilty plea to the battery charges, the newspaper reported in August after reviewing records in the case.
Nampa police officer Erick Moore said that the social media exposure helped expedite their efforts to identify Rivera as the suspect in the incident.
‘Our community not only supports us but they support us going after people that commit crimes,’ Moore told the New York Times in July. ‘They really stepped up and were able to help us get this identity pretty quick.’
As well as a host of TV credits, Rivera also appeared in Percy Jackson & The Olympians, Father of the Bride and The Merry Gentlemen.
Nampa, which has a population of more than 100,000 people, sits about 20 miles west of Boise.
