Meghan Markle has shared a selfie-style snap taken during her time as a working royal – giving royal fans a glimpse of her life while living in the UK.
The image showed the duchess in her and Prince Harry’s former residency’s garden, Frogmore Cottage, alongside her late dog.
The candid photo, which was taken before the pair were evicted by King Charles in the Summer of 2023, was released as part of an emotional video montage announcing the death of her beloved beagle, Guy.
Meghan wore a casual black zip-up jacket with a blue crop top, accessorised with a pair of sunglasses.

In the Instagram post, Guy was pictured climbing on the duchess, putting his paw on the smiling royal.
The ten-bedroom house also appeared in the couple’s debut Netflix series, Harry & Meghan.
The now Californian-based royals moved into the property in April 2019, shortly before the birth of their son Archie in May 2019.
They vacated the property in early 2020 after the pair announced they would be stepping back as working royals in January earlier that year.

Meghan and Harry now reside in California with their children Archie, five and Lilibet, three.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex occasionally used the cottage after they stepped away, including to celebrate Princess Lilibet’s first birthday in June 2022 and after the death of Queen Elizabeth.
Frogmore Cottage was a gift from the Queen to the couple as their primary UK residence following their royal wedding in 2018.
In early 2023, the pair were evicted from the property by King Charles following the publication of Harry’s controversial memoir, Spare.
Sir Michael Stevens, Keeper of the Privy Purse, said: “We can confirm that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have vacated Frogmore Cottage.
“The Duke and Duchess have repaid the expenditure incurred by the Sovereign Grant in relation to the renovation of Frogmore Cottage, thus leaving the Crown with a greatly enhanced asset.”
The property has since been offered to Prince Andrew, with the King suggesting the disgraced duke downsize from his current residency at Royal Lodge in an effort to cut costs.
