Mike Tindall delighted royal fans by sharing a glimpse of his Christmas tree at his Gatcombe Park home, shortly before he is set to leave the UK with his wife, Zara Tindall.
The former rugby star released a new video, offering royal watchers a rare peek inside the family residence he shares with his three children, Mia, Lena and Lucas.
The seasonal reveal came just before the couple’s planned departure from the UK, with the pair set to spend Christmas with the Royal Family at Sandringham before heading abroad.
The father-of-three’s video captured the dazzling decorations in their royal residence, situated on Princess Anne’s estate, where the family has made their home.

The Christmas tree stood as a magnificent centrepiece, adorned with frosted branches and dozens of glimmering lights throughout its branches.
Several festive ornaments could be spotted nestled amongst the bedazzled branches, creating a truly glamorous holiday display.
Adding to the festive spirit, Mike sported an eye-catching Christmas suit jacket featuring Will Ferrell’s ‘Buddy the Elf’ character printed across the fabric.
The novelty Christmas attire is nothing new for the royal, who has previously shown his love for festive fashion. In 2020, he displayed another memorable outfit decorated with reindeer, Christmas trees and snowmen, complete with a matching tie.
The playful fashion choice aligns with the Royal Family’s tradition of exchanging humorous gifts during their celebrations.
In the heartwarming video, the giggles of Mike’s children could be heard in the background as he addressed the camera, though none of them made an appearance.
The festive clip served a dual purpose, as Mike used the opportunity to promote his Black Eye Gin brand to his followers.
“Treat a friend or loved one to a bottle of Blackeye Gin this Christmas, the perfect gift!” Mike wrote in his caption, noting it was available at various retailers including Waitrose Cellar, Amazon, and Ocado.
The promotional message showcased Mike’s entrepreneurial spirit, whilst offering an intimate glimpse into the family’s Christmas preparations at their Gatcombe Park residence.
Following their festive celebrations, Zara and Mike Tindall are set to embark on a journey to Australia in early January.
The couple will travel without their children, who will be returning to school, to participate in Magic Millions, a 10-day equestrian carnival on the Gold Coast.
“Galloping down the beach, on the Gold Coast, is fairly unique,” Zara told the Australian Financial Review Magazine.
The event combines polo, showjumping and a beach race along Surfers Paradise, with Zara having served as the face of the event since 2012.
“We love the lifestyle and the weather obviously is incredible. It’s just very relaxed. We’ve got a lot of friends out there,” Zara added, highlighting her decade-long involvement with Magic Millions.
The mother-of-three will participate in various equestrian activities, riding retrained racehorses during the carnival.
