Reform UK leader Nigel Farage’s claim that handing the woman who threw a milkshake at him a suspended sentence is “two-tier justice” has been fiercely defended by commentator Clare Muldoon.
OnlyFans model Victoria Thomas Bowen was given a 13-week sentence, suspended for 12 months after throwing the drink over Farage during a campaign visit to Clacton in June.
Hitting out at the verdict, Farage took to social media to brand the outcome as the “latest example” of “two-tier justice”.
He fumed: “We now live in a country where you can assault a Member of Parliament and not go to prison.”

Reacting to the ruling, commentator Clare Muldoon threw her support behind Farage, dismissing that his claims of “two-tier justice” are a “conspiracy theory”, as claimed by fellow GB News panellist and commentator Andy Williams.
She told GB News: “Why is it a conspiracy theory for him to have said it’s two-tier policing?
“She also pled guilty to it, which helped minimise any punitive set down by the Judge.”
Highlighting the ongoing concern for MP safety, Muldoon stressed that any incident which compromises the safety of a public figure is “horrific”.
Muldoon explained: “The bigger picture here is safeguarding MPs and how volatile the country is.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
“Regardless of how uptight you get… regardless of how much I hate the SNP, I would never think of hurling something at someone. It’s horrendous and it’s horrific.”
Agreeing with Muldoon, host Eamonn Holmes also weighed in on the sentencing decision, claiming that if Thomas Bowen had grown up “on a council estate”, her sentence “would have been the maximum”.
Eamonn told the panel: “She hasn’t got the maximum sentence, has she?
“I guarantee you, if she was from a council estate somewhere around the country, her sentence would have been heavier.”

In defence of Thomas Bowen, political commentator Andy Williams noted how the OnlyFans star now “has a criminal record” for life, and so “has been punished”.
Williams concluded: “The point is, she has a criminal record now. So she has been punished.
“That is something that will follow her for the rest of her life for doing something pretty stupid.
“But I don’t think it’s some big political sort of witch hunt against Nigel Farage. That’s just how the courts decide things.”
