I’m A Celeb hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly reportedly slammed Jane Moore off-screen for her ‘unfair’ attack on Danny Jones and Barry McGuigan during Sunday’s episode of the show.
The Loose Women host, 62, wasn’t afraid to share her thoughts after she was given a new chore following a camp re-shuffle.
The episode saw a changeover in camp leaders after a public vote handed control of the contestants over to Danny and Barry.
But the new order didn’t go down well with the journalist who branded the pair sexist and ageist.
According to The Mirror, while reflecting on the moment, Ant said: ‘I think she is being a bit unfair by saying it’s sexist and ageist. I think they were just trying to do a good job in allocating fairly, if I’m honest.’

Dec chimed in with: ‘Yes, I agree. I feel for Barry, he was only trying to do his best,’ to which Ant added: ‘Poor little Barry’.
According to the publication, Ant previously said that it’s ‘good’ to have ‘a little bit of tetchiness in there’.
He added that he’s not shocked by the confrontation as the drama always seem to revolve and the chores and who they’re given to.
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Ant and Dec for comment.
During Friday’s episode, the McFly singer and the former boxer, in the role as new leaders, headed off together to decide who should do what chores around the camp.
After some deliberation, the pair decided that among others, Jane should be on washing up duty along with Tulisa but after they delivered the news Jane complained that they had given her that job because she was a woman.
Earlier in the episode the two went off together to draw up plans.
Danny said: ‘Shall we talk chefs first, obviously me and Melvin can’t do that.’
Barry then added: ‘Wood duty needs to be somebody who’s strong and has good stamina.

Danny then suggested Jane on washing up, saying: ‘I think we have to put Jane on washing up but the only thing I want to say is have we gone a bit male heavy on the strenuous jobs?’.
But Barry quickly shut down the suggestion, replying: ‘I think that’s a fair comment but I don’t think they’d thank us after a few days.’
Danny then confessed he was just trying to organise things to give the camp ‘the best opportunity to thrive’.
The pair then went back to the eager campmates and began revealing who had what task.
They started with washing up duties and announced Jane and Tulisa would be overseeing that for the camp before Jane shouted: ‘Oh what? Is that because we’re women?’.
Barry tried to justify the pair’s decision, explaining that since Jane was 62 and a year younger than him, she might want something less strenuous but before he could finish Jane retorted: ‘So ageist and sexist!’
Danny then joked: ‘We’ve started out well’, before Oti said: ‘You could cut the tension with a knife.’
Later on Jane complained that her only request was that she wasn’t on cleaning duties, telling Danny: ‘Those were my last words as you walked past me, “please not cleaning”, and you’ve given me cleaning.’

She said: ‘I’m not upset, I’m just saying it’s women doing the washing up again.’
And although Dean jumped to the TV star’s defence, viewers on social media were less than supportive.
Fans of the show took to X to criticise the star’s behaviour and told her to ‘get a grip’.
They wrote: ‘What’s got Jane so triggered it’s not that serious #ImACeleb’
‘Drama in the kitchen with Jane washing up’
‘Shut up and do the dishes Jane!! As you say youve had a go at other chores so what’s your beef’
‘I hope Jane’s dishwasher at home never breaksdown’
‘Get a grip Jane’

Other slammed the star for acting like a child, saying: ‘Jane saying “doesn’t matter, done now” after Danny asked her what she wanted to do instead?? Responded like an actual child’.
While another wrote: ‘ Jane get over yourself.. at least you’re not on dunny duty!’
Others added that they were so shocked they wished they had voted for Jane to do a trial as punishment: ‘Really wishing I voted Jane for a trial, going on like a child over a bit of washing up.’
And others said Jane was getting on their nerves.
But others were more sympathetic and criticised Danny for not anticipating Jane’s reaction, writing: ‘People on here having a go at Jane but to be fair Danny saw it coming and was going to reconsider the chores based on gender balance but didn’t see it through’.
