Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince George have grilled Prince William over a ‘tough question’.
Prince William revealed that his three children regularly ask him what his favourite animal is during his trip to South Africa.
The 42-year-old heir to the throne met with Australian TV star and environmentalist Robert Irwin on a nature walk on Signal Hill, Cape Town.
Irwin said: “I have to ask, we’re in South Africa, one of the most amazing countries and continents for wildlife, do you have a favourite African animal?”

William replied: “It’s a really tough question.
“My children ask me this regularly.
“I think I’m going to have to say the cheetah.”
Prince William is in South Africa for the fourth annual Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony, the prestigious contest he founded in 2020 to promote solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental challenges, which Irwin supports as a global ambassador.
