Five people have been injured in a horror gas explosion at a popular campground in South Australia.
Emergency services were called to the campground at Myponga, in Adelaide’s south, just after 4.20pm on Saturday following reports of a gas bottle explosion.
A man and woman, both 25, were taken by helicopter to hospital with facial burns in a serious condition, a spokeswoman for SA Ambulance said.
Three others were taken by road to hospital, one suffering burns to their back and two with burns to their legs.

Myponga is scenic part of South Australia that is popular among locals and visitors for walking, fishing and kayaking.
Visitors also frequent Myponga Beach, which is situated just 15 minutes away from the Myponga Reservoir.
Around 750 people live in the area that is about an hour’s drive from Adelaide.
