That’s because, starting at 00.01am on October 8, only those with a paid subscription — or a 30-day free trial — to Amazon Prime will be able to access the thousands of discounts coming to the online store in the Prime Big Deal Days sale.
The two-day event will see price cuts to best-selling brands including LG, Sony, Bose, Shark, and Tefal. Based on previous Prime Day sales, we’d expected to huge generous discounts across Amazon’s own devices, such as Kindle readers, Echo smart speakers, and Fire TV Stick dongles.
Amazon has confirmed that shoppers will see “the lowest prices of the year so far” on select products. The 48-hour sale — a perfect opportunity to stock-up on discounts ahead of Christmas — ends on October 9, 2024.

Ahead of the exclusive members-only sale, Amazon confirmed that it has expanded its same-day delivery service to more cities across the UK, including Aberdeen, Middlesbrough, and Plymouth, bringing the total to 81 towns and cities nationwide.
One of the perks of Prime membership is unlimited one-day delivery on millions of items stocked on Amazon at no extra cost. Same-day delivery is now available on over a million items, although there is a minimum order value to unlock this benefit. If you’d rather, you can have your order sent to Amazon Lockers anywhere for free, or choose a preferred delivery day at checkout.

Outside of Prime Day sales, where you’ll be amongst an exclusive group with access to the savings, you’ll also be able to unlock access to exclusive Lightning Deals year-round.
