My Mum, Your Dad stars Danny and Jenny are still together five months after the ITV show finished – and plan to spend Christmas with their ‘blended families.’
MailOnline can reveal the couple are the only contestants from this year’s series, which ended on Friday night, who remain in a relationship after striking up a close connection in the retreat.
Viewers saw the pair grow close from the moment they enjoyed their first date and they became the sole couple to enjoy an evening in the show’s new Snug, where inhabitants can turn off the camera feed so nobody can watch what they’re up to.
Speaking exclusively, Jenny, 51, revealed her romance with Danny, 49, has flourished even further since filming ended in May.
She said: ‘It’s been the best experience and meeting Danny was something I could never have dreamed of.

Jenny revealed she and Danny are ‘in this for the long haul’ and since filming for the ITV show ended their romance has got ‘better’ and ‘better’
‘We would never have met if it wasn’t for the show and since filming wrapped it’s just got better and better.
‘I do really feel I’ve met a special person, we’re both on the same page and are in this for the long haul.
‘We’ve met each other’s extended family and now because the secret is finally out, we are hoping to take a much deserved holiday. We’re also planning on spending our first Christmas together.’
During the final week of the series, operations manager Jenny expressed some doubts as to whether the relationship would last outside of the retreat, given she’s based in Cheshire and Danny lives in Sussex.
But after some reassurance from the sales manager, Jenny agreed to put her worries behind her and focus on the positives, enjoying their relationship day-by-day.
And the words of advice paid off and she’s now looking forward to the future with her new man.
Jenny added: ‘It’s crazy how much our lives have changed in such a short space of time.
‘I’m really positive about the future which is phenomenal given how I was feeling when I first went on the show.

Speaking about his newfound love, Danny said: ‘I’ve never met anyone quite like Jenny, she blows me away and I feel so lucky to have met her’
Danny also praised show host Davina McCall, who is also the brainchild of the dating show for mature adults, for getting them together
‘It still amazes me that I’ve actually connected with someone and I’m excited for what the future will bring.’
Danny, meanwhile, he’s just relieved he can now talk about his new relationship after being forced to keep it secret following his stint inside the retreat.
He also praised show host Davina McCall, who is also the brainchild of the dating show for mature adults, for getting them together.
Danny said: ‘Finally the cat is out of the bag and we can actually hold hands and sit close together when we’re in public.
‘It’s been so hard keeping this a secret but we clearly did a good job because we’ve seen the comments.
‘I knew from the moment we had our first date in the retreat, that this was the start of something really special.
‘I’ve never met anyone quite like Jenny, she blows me away and I feel so lucky to have met her.’
He added: ‘Thanks Davina, she really is ‘Davina McCupid.’
Viewers saw the couple’s sons give their blessing to the relationship on Friday night’s episode, having supported the pair’s growing connection from the nearby house where the contestants’ kids were based watching their parents’ every move.
Indeed, Jenny’s son Malachi, 19, got emotional seeing his mum so happy, while Ellis, 21, was relieved to see his dad Danny extinguish demons from the past and find love again.
The four other singletons to make it through to the final day of the retreat after forming a connection were Vicky, 50, and David, 53, plus Paul, 48, and Steph, 44.
However, both pairs agreed their relationships were more friendships and opted not to continue their romances outside of the show.
