Watch the moment GB News host Stephen Dixon clashes with Robert Jenrick after an attempt to dismiss the recent donations sting on Reform UK.
Speaking to the People’s Channel, the party’s Treasury Spokesman rejected Stephen’s argument that the party “cannot get away” from the scandal at their ongoing Reform conference.
Stephen told Mr Jenrick: “Whatever is announced over the course of today, in your first 100 days in power and all the rest of it, what people are talking about is the bad smell around Reform, donations and the money that you’re taking in.
“You can’t get away from that at the moment, can you?”
The Reform MP tried to dismiss the question, telling GB News: “Well there might be some journalists talking about that, but that’s not my experience.
“Look, that’s been dealt with, the two individuals you’re talking about are gone, and we’re here today moving forwards and setting out what we’re going to do in the first 100 days of Reform Government.”
Challenging Mr Jenrick further, Stephen pushed back: “Forgive me, but how is it dealt with when Reform itself have said there’s got to be a full investigation?”
Interjecting the GB News host, Mr Jenrick said: “Well, the two people who did this are gone.”

Stephen then asked the MP: “Have they done something wrong? Those two people, have they done something wrong?”
Mr Jenrick responded: “Well, the language that they used was clearly inappropriate, that was very disappointing.
“Therefore, Nigel took very swift action, which is ultimately what matters here, how parties respond to these things because they happen on occasion, unfortunately, to all parties, and he removed them. Therefore we’ve moved on.”
Taking issue with the Reform spokesman’s response, Stephen argued that Mr Farage “was there when it happened”, having featured in the undercover footage taken by the sting operators.

REFORM UKMr Jenrick told GB News: “No, no, no, no, let’s be clear. Nigel met these pranksters very briefly for lunch whilst he was out and about on the campaign trail in Clacton, he didn’t know about any of this stuff.
“He’s not on camera saying the things that these two aides did, that’s why he took action. He’s removed them and the party is now moving forwards.”
Moving away from the discussion on the sting, Mr Jenrick highlighted the events of the Reform conference on Friday and the guest appearance from French politician Jordan Bardella.
He said: “Yesterday we had Jordan Bardella, the likely next prime minister of France, coming here and signing a written agreement saying that if he was prime minister, the boats would stop almost immediately, agreeing with the plan that we set out a few weeks ago.

“Agreeing with Operation Fortress, whereby the Royal Navy could intercept at the halfway point in the English Channel, take the illegals back to France, put them on shore, end this whole fiasco overnight. That’s an incredible achievement.”
Taking aim at the People’s Channel, Mr Jenrick questioned the coverage of the agreement: “That’s something that Labour and Tory Governments have been trying to do for years. How many times have you discussed it on your programme?
“Nigel Farage has cut through the Gordian Knot, he’s made the diplomatic deal that was needed. That is, frankly a statesman doing what needed to be done to fix this problem and secure our borders once and for all.
“Today I’m going to be on the same stage, and later on, Nigel is saying that we’re going to deliver the biggest tax cut for working people in a very long time.”
