Zara Tindall took a break from the Magic Millions Carnival on Australia’s Gold Coast for some retail therapy on Wednesday, just two days after a dramatic incident with a horse during a promotional photoshoot.
The 43-year-old royal was spotted browsing shops at Budds Beach in Surfer’s Paradise with her husband Mike Tindall.
The shopping excursion came shortly after a heart-stopping moment where she narrowly avoided serious injury when a horse reared up and landed on her shoulder during a photoshoot at Surfers Paradise.
During that incident, Zara had been posing with three horses when one suddenly lurched forward, knocking her to the side as onlookers gasped.

The Princess Royal’s daughter, who appeared visibly shaken during the incident, managed to jump away just in time to avoid serious harm.
Despite the dramatic event, Zara appeared relaxed as she mingled with locals during her shopping trip, carrying a brown leather cross-body bag and a white shopping bag containing recent purchases.
The Olympic equestrian showcased a relaxed summer style during her retail outing, wearing a light blue striped short-sleeve shirt tied at the waist, paired with white rolled-cuff shorts.
Her casual ensemble was completed with white trainers and translucent-framed sunglasses, with her blonde hair tied back.

She showed particular interest in racks of hats displayed on the footpath outside one store and was spotted examining a Finnish wood-chucking game called Finska, suggesting plans for beach activities later in the day.
Zara’s presence in Australia is tied to her role as Magic Millions Racing Women Ambassador, a position she has held since 2012 following her Olympic silver medal win in London.
The prestigious event has become a regular fixture in her calendar, bringing her to Surfers Paradise annually for the Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
The seven-day auction event culminates in a major race meeting featuring horses purchased at previous Magic Millions auctions.
Brand experts have suggested Zara could be earning millions from her ambassador role with Magic Millions.
The dramatic incident with the horse came just six months after her mother, Princess Anne, suffered a similar accident that left her with memory loss.
The Princess Royal, 74, was kicked in the head by a horse in June, resulting in minor head wounds and a concussion.
Zara and Mike are frequent visitors to Australian shores, having spent Christmas in the UK before returning Down Under for the Magic Millions.
The couple, who are not working royals and do not receive money from the Sovereign Grant, fund their lifestyle through various brand deals.
Australia holds special significance for the pair, as it was where their love story began in 2003 at a Sydney bar.
Mike was “drowning his sorrows” after being cut from the England World Cup squad when he met Zara, who was on a gap year.
The couple, who married in 2011 and have three children – Mia, 10, Lena, six, and Lucas, three – have maintained strong ties with Australia.
During their previous visits, they have been spotted at luxury boutiques and wine tours, and even celebrated New Year 2020 in Sydney with celebrities including Rebel Wilson.
