Zara Tindall has issued a surprising reaction to a warm encounter with her aunt, the Duchess of Edinburgh.
Princess Anne’s daughter was speaking out about her love of Australia and Magic Millions – a 10-day equestrian carnival.
Magic Millions, which takes place on the Gold Coast every January, is owned by Katie Page and her husband Gerry Harvey of the Harvey Norman shopping empire.
Page, 68, who is very close to Zara, has lifted the lid on her royal connections, including with Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

Speaking to the Australian Financial Review Magazine, she said: “Gerry and I were lucky enough to go to the races with the Queen and Prince Philip.
“We had lunch with them, which was fantastic. Charles and Camilla were there as well.
“We were fortunate to go in the carriages, and it was so funny.
“I’m all dressed up and a bird pooped on me. They all thought it was hilarious.

“And Princess Sophie [the Duchess of Edinburgh] had to clean me up.”
However, Zara, 43, responded with a surprising reaction.
She laughed while telling the publication: “That’s good luck.”
Sophie is married to Zara’s uncle, Prince Edward, and the couple share two children, Lady Louise Windsor, 21, and James, Earl of Wessex, 16.

The Edinburghs live at Bagshot Park in Windsor, a stone’s throw away from Windsor Castle and Adelaide Cottage, the home of Prince William and Princess Kate.
Bagshot Park was a wedding gift to Sophie and Edward in 1999 from the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The couple began full working royal duties in 2002 when the Duke of Edinburgh stepped down from his company, Ardent Productions.
The duchess also closed her PR business interests and began full-time work as a senior member of the Royal Family.
