Wigan Warriors will take on Hull KR at Old Trafford on Saturday

Wigan Warriors and Hull KR are set to face off at this season’s rugby Super League final at Old Trafford.

The two teams faced off last season, with Wigan claiming victory for the second year in a row at the 74,000-seat stadium.

What time does it start and how can I watch?

Kick-off will be at 18:00 BST on Saturday and the game is set to be broadcast live on Radio 5.

How do I get there?

If you’ve got tickets to see the action in person, here’s everything you need to know about getting to the ground.

Old Trafford can be accessed by bus, train or tram, and parking is also available at the stadium which can be booked and paid for ahead of time online.

Roads around the stadium, including the local motorway network, get extremely busy on match days so fans are advised to plan their trip to Old Trafford in advance and allow extra travel time.

When should I arrive?

Fans will be able to access the stadium from 16:00 BST on Saturday via the turnstile indicated on their tickets.

All attendees will be screened and have their bags searched and tickets checked before entry, which means there can be lines to gain access to the stadium.

What can I bring?

Only bags smaller than 20cm x 15cm x 5cm (about 8″ x 6″ x 2″) are allowed inside the stadium. Larger bags have to be checked in at the designated bag drop facility.

Small fold-up umbrellas, small bottle of hand gel and clear plastic bottles of water 500ml or less with the top removed are allowed inside.

Items like smoke or gas canisters, water bottles larger than 500ml and alcohol are not permitted.

The full list of what can and can’t be brought in is available here.

Will food and drink be available?

Food and drink, including alcohol, can be bought at Old Trafford. However, it is a fully cashless stadium so they must be bought with a debit or credit card.

Alcohol cannot be consumed in the stands or in any area with a direct view of the pitch.
