Watch the horrific moment a drug-driver deliberately crashed head-on into a police vehicle at a shocking 80mph.
Joseph Sharpes, 22, was sentenced to 54 months in prison after he appeared at Chester Crown Court on November 17.
Back in June 7, he swerved onto the path on Crew Road in Haslington, Cheshire before he ploughed into the officers at the shocking speed.
The police were on their way to the address after receiving reports for his safety at around 12.30pm.
The driver later admitted to multiple offences including grievous bodily harm with intent, dangerous driving, drug driving and possession of cocaine.
Both officers involved were seriously injured.
