he latest episode of the Duchess of Sussex’s podcast will be released around 1pm on Tuesday after a bombshell interview in which she claimed she upset the Royal Family’s dynamic “just by existing”.

The latest episode of Meghan’s Archetypes podcast will be released on Tuesday, seeing her talk to star Mariah Carey, about the “complexities” surrounding the word ‘diva’.

It comes after an interview with US magazine The Cut, promoting her podcast series, in which the 41-year-old said it “takes a lot of effort to forgive” about her exit from royal life.

She told the magazine in a cover feature that she and Prince Harry had offered to continue as working royals in a Commonwealth country and to be allowed to earn their own money in an effort to reduce the “noise” about them.

The duchess said: “That, for whatever reason, is not something that we were allowed to do, even though several other members of the family do that exact thing.”

After stepping back from royal duties in 2020, the couple originally moved to Canada, before eventually settling in the exclusive area of Montecito, California.

Meghan also spoke of her concerns about Prince Harry’s relationship with his father, Prince Harry.

Speaking about a high-profile privacy case she brought against the Mail on Sunday, she said: “Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in this process.’

“It doesn’t have to be the same for them as it was for me, but that’s his decision.”

A spokesperson for the duchess later said she was referring to her relationship with her estranged father, and that she was saying she hoped the same would not happen with her husband.

A source close to Charles told media he would be saddened if Harry felt their relationship was lost, adding: “The Prince of Wales loves both his sons”.

Elsewhere in the interview, Meghan hinted she could make a return to Instagram after deleting her account more than four years ago upon becoming a royal.
