Tu clothing has unveiled its most ambitious premium knitwear range yet, with pure cashmere pieces starting from just £65.

The autumn collection marks a “significant milestone” for Sainsbury’s fashion brand, featuring both 100 per cent cashmere garments and merino-cashmere blends priced from £40.

It’s the biggest premium knitwear launch Tu has ever done, bringing luxury fibres to everyday wardrobes at prices that won’t break the bank.

The range promises to deliver “elevated elegance to the everyday” with classic shapes and exceptional quality that shoppers will love.

You can purchase it online at tu.co.uk and in selected Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.

The collection features seven different pure cashmere pieces, including jumpers and cardigans, alongside three merino-cashmere blend options.

Everything comes in sizes six to 24, making luxury knitwear accessible to more shoppers than ever.

The 100 per cent cashmere range features gorgeous seasonal colours like baby pink, green, grey and oatmeal, perfect for adding a “refined pop of colour” to autumn outfits.

Meanwhile, the merino-cashmere blends come in more understated browns and greys that are brilliant for layering.

Tu says the collection “balances warmth, elegance and versatility” – exactly what we need as the weather turns chilly.

The new pieces showcase the supermarket’s “commitment to bringing premium quality to more customers”.

Elevating its fashion credentials, the retailer has carefully created each garment to offer “exceptional craftsmanship and enduring style” that won’t cost a fortune.

Director of product at Tu Clothing, Melinda Harris, stated: “We’re incredibly proud to have launched our new 100 per cent cashmere knitwear collection this autumn.

“Our team has worked with real care to ensure every piece meets the highest standard, and we are excited to continue offering our customers premium pieces that reflect our commitment to accessible style and craftsmanship.

“My personal favourite is the pink crew neck jumper; it taps into the burgundy and berry tones trending this season, and the cashmere fabrications bring a beautifully soft, luxurious feel that instantly elevates any look.”

Several major supermarkets are currently upping the style stakes, unveiling new offerings for the autumn/winter period.
