While preparing for their mega-AFC matchup on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, Travis Kelce decided to take a moment to knock teammate Chris Jones down in a prank during Wednesday’s practice.
Inside the Kansas City Chiefs’ indoor practice facility, Kelce runs from over a dozen yards away from Jones to lunge at him.
Kelce goes airborne and pretends the defensive tackle is a basketball rim and dunks on him.
Jones fell to the turf during the prank uninjured, while Kelce celebrated the slam with a taunt and a dance.
Several teammates picked Jones up off the turf, including Kelce, with both men laughing about the situation directly afterwards.
Kelce and Jones, alongside quarterback Patrick Mahomes, may be the Chiefs three best players.

Kelce is one of the integral members on Kansas City’s roster and he is not afraid to joke around
Both Jones and Kelce have been integral in the team’s current 15-game win streak, including a 9-0 mark this season.
The Chiefs return to Highmark Stadium, where they were victorious in last season’s AFC Divisional round, for possibly their toughest test of the season.
Kansas City’s current win streak has been hanging on by a thread at a few turns this season, most notably, needing a blocked field goal at the end of last week’s game against the Denver Broncos to stay unblemished in 2024.
Kelce himself has ramped up his production in recent weeks, but still only has two touchdowns this season. His teammates seem unconcerned with the few down points earlier in the campaign.
Jones has been his usual self, wreaking havoc from the middle of the Kansas City defensive line.
