Tika Sumpter is lending a hand amid the devastating LA fires.
Sumpter, 44, revealed she will be donating her own baby items to parents in need.
Taking to Instagram, she first clarified a previous post she made that got people asking if she was receiving donations to give to those afflicted.
‘I just want to say thank you for the outpouring of love for the mini-distribution thing that we started,’ Sumpter, who’s in the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie, said.
‘But I know a lot of people were inquiring about donations that they want to give to us but we’re not accepting any donations.’
She said the baby items she planned on donating were belongings she personally owns.

‘This is stuff from our own personal baby items that we’ve had that I’ve kept for far too long, thinking one day I would need them again,’ she said.
‘But it’s some really good stuff and I just want to give it away to people who actually need it right now.
‘So yeah, again we’re not accepting… any donations right now. We won’t be accepting any. We’re just giving away. We’re just giving away our stuff.’
Sumpter announced her donations a day earlier with photo of a room filled with various items set to be donated.
The donations included a stroller and an abundance of clothing.
‘Dear Mothers, Parents of newborns, toddlers to 8 year olds who were greatly affected by the fires,’ she wrote.
‘We have gently used car seats, books, toys, clothes from 0-8yrs, bottles, strollers, high chairs and so much more,’ she said.
