Matt Goodwin has declared that the fight for free speech in Britain is “far from over”.

Earlier today, Hamit Coskun, who burned a Koran in London while shouting obscenities about Islam, successfully appealed his conviction.

The man was previously convicted of a racially aggravated public order offence in June.

Discussing the case, the GB News star said it was just “small victory in one battle in the free speech war”, but added: “The fight to defend free speech on these islands is far from over.”
