Tammy Hembrow boasted about travelling to Sydney’s Vera Wang boutique store for dress fittings for months before tying the knot to Matt Zukowski.
But in a surprising twist, the fitness influencer, 30, actually wore a wedding dress from the designer’s Haute collection and bought it straight off the rack.
While some brides opt to design a custom made dress for their big day, Tammy was happy to purchase a style which has been worn by many others.
Sources tell Daily Mail Australia, the Vera Wang gown worn by Tammy is priced at $12,800, while other dresses in this collection start from $10,000.
The strapless blush silk ball gown features a multi-layered crinkle tulle skirt and has been handmade in New York.
It has a corset bodice which highlighted the influencer’s ample cleavage on her wedding day.

The most expensive Vera Wang wedding dress is $47,000 but it is not available in Sydney.
In February, Tammy travelled from the Gold Coast to Sydney with her bridesmaids and daughter Posy to try on designer wedding gowns for her special day.
Taking to Instagram, she gave fans a glimpse inside the glamorous fitting rooms at Vera Wang’s Sydney boutique.
In the video, Tammy and her bridal entourage were treated to glasses of champagne as Tammy tried on several stunning gowns from the luxury brand.
‘Felt like a real life princess,’ she captioned the video.
Tammy and Matt, whose wedding is believed to be featured in an upcoming edition of Vogue, tied the knot in a romantic outdoor ceremony on the grounds of the stunning $7,000-a-night Chateau Du Soleil in Byron Bay on Saturday.
As the couple held hands, Tammy became emotional and broke down in tears while they exchanged vows and said, ‘I do’.
Matt appeared tearful as he read his vows to his new wife from a piece of paper, with Tammy watching intently as he delivered the romantic speech.

Tammy was supported by her bridesmaids – her sisters Amy, 34, and Emilee, 32, along with her half-sister Ava Olympia and Starlette Thynne.
Her daughters Saskia, eight, and Posy, two, served as flower girls and wore sweet pale pink frocks, while her son Wolf, nine, was a page boy.
Among the guest list for the special day were the likes of Em Davies, Ruby Tuesday Matthews and her rarely-seen fiancé Shannan Dodd, Lily Brown and Anna McEvoy.
However, a source told Daily Mail Australia that Tammy’s father Mark heartbreakingly missed the ceremony due to a last-minute injury.
The Hembrow patriarch missed walking Tammy down the aisle and was forced to skip the majority of the nuptials in order to get treatment for a sore leg.
He made an appearance on crutches after the ceremony before then having to go to hospital.
Tammy’s wedding venue is the same property where cricketer Pat Cummins had his wedding, and where Hollywood start Matt Damon quarantined when visiting Australia during the pandemic.
Located on the outskirts of Byron Bay, the $7,000-a-night Airbnb boasts a swimming pool, tennis court and four bedrooms.

Tammy and Matt got engaged during a romantic trip to the Maldives in December last year following just three months of dating.
Tammy has been engaged twice before, the first time to influencer Reece Hawkins, who she shares her son Wolf and daughter Saskia with.
In November 2021, she then became engaged to restaurateur and former Ironman Matt Poole. The pair split in December 2022 and share their daughter Posy.
