Taylor Swift’s unlikely friendship with Ronan Farrow is getting the spotlight after they were spotted partying it up with famous pals in New York City this week.
Taylor and Ronan — the son of Rosemary’s Baby star Mia Farrow and disgraced filmmaker Woody Allen — joined the likes of Faith Hill and Este Haim at the new members-only club Chez Margaux on Tuesday night.
An eyewitness told Page Six that the billionaire singer, 34, is ‘very close’ with the nepo baby, 36, and that she greeted him warmly when he arrived at the club.
‘Taylor and Ronan seem to be very close friends. They got excited, hugged, kissed, and she grabbed his hand and went to the private room with the others,’ they dished.
According to the outlet, Taylor, Ronan, Ronan’s partner Hamer Morgenstern and their group hung out past midnight in their ‘private room.’
Swift is also said to have met up with Ronan at Chez Margaux earlier this month while reuniting with pal Zoe Kravitz.

Ronan is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and contributing writer at The New Yorker.
He is a staunch liberal who has used his platform to call out abuses in Hollywood — from convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein to his own father, who was accused of sexual misconduct by his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow back in 1992.
Allen, who has repeatedly denied the allegations, wasn’t charged following a 1993 probe by authorities in Connecticut.
But Ronan and mom Mia have stuck by Dylan, whose accusations were revisited amid the rise of the #MeToo movement that Ronan helped spearhead.
In 2016, Ronan famously penned a powerful piece for The Hollywood Reporter calling out Allen’s alleged ‘strange behavior’ towards Dylan as a seven-year-old child and insisted that his sister’s allegations were ‘credible.’
He also accused the press of ‘silencing’ victims while protecting ‘powerful’ men — a phenomenon that is explored and exposed in his own journalistic work.
Ronan’s investigative reporting in 2017 helped reveal a horrifying 20-year history of sexual misconduct allegations made against Hollywood heavyweights like Weinstein.

Ronan was previously involved with the Obama administration and is considered a liberal darling by many.
He is the perfect social fixture for Swift, who has become increasingly vocal about her progressive political stances after years of silence.

And in an interview in 2019 with The Guardian, Swift said she supported Hilary Clinton over Donald Trump in the 2016 election and accused Trump of treating the presidency like ‘an autocracy.’
More recently, she made a passionate endorsement for Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris in which she took a brutal swipe at Trump’s VP pick J.D. Vance’s controversial ‘childless cat lady’ remark.
Swift also slammed Trump — who ended up beating Harris in the 2024 presidential race — for ‘falsely’ claiming her support with a slew of AI images.
Her lengthy endorsement read in part: ‘I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.’
She also claimed to have ‘done my research’ on Harris and encouraged her fans to do their own before casting their vote in the 2024 election.
Swift concluded with: ‘With love and hope, Taylor Swift Childless Cat Lady.’
The Trump campaign shrugged off the endorsement at the time, claiming it’s further proof Swift is part of the ‘Democratic elite.’
While not much is known about the origin of Swift’s friendship with Ronan, he did previously reveal in 2020 that Swift was a fan of his #MeToo advocacy.

In a tweet, he said that Swift wrote him a ‘letter’ about his 2019 New York Times bestselling book Catch and Kill, which explores the abuses of Harvey Weinstein.
Swift has a direct connection to the #MeToo movement as she famously won a sexual assault case in 2017 against former radio personality, David Mueller, who she accused of groping her backside four years prior.
Mueller was forced to pay Swift a symbolic $1 in damages.
In reply to a X (formerly Twitter) user, Ronan said he was a ‘big time’ Swiftie and that he planned to ‘[frame] the letter she wrote me about Catch and Kill.’
He did not share what Swift has written to him.
