We are in the final days of a dramatic summer transfer window and Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham continue to dominate headlines. Chelsea have finally agreed a deal with Leicester to sign Wesley Fofana and remain in pursuit of Arsen Zakharyan, though Manchester United are now battling for Blues target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Frank Lampard has fired a new warning over Anthony Gordon.

For Arsenal, Marco Asensio and Wilfried Zaha are fresh targets for Mikel Arteta’s desired winger, amid frustrations over Pedro Neto as Wolves look to price the club out of a move. Youri Tielemans started for Leicester in their defeat to Chelsea today as Brendan Rodgers returned the midfielder to his line-up.

Benched last week for tactical reasons, Tielemans was incorrectly reported to have been dropped like Wesley Fofana for being in the wrong frame of mind amid talk of Arsenal’s interest in his services.

But, reports outline how no offer has landed from the Gunners.

Man United remain in Aubameyang hunt

Manchester United could yet disrupt Chelsea’s move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Sky Sports report on the Red Devils maintaining their interest in the Barcelona striker, who is rated at £20m.

Reguilon to Atletico update

Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon is set to join Atletico Madrid on loan for the season, writes Standard Sport’s Dan Kilpatrick…

The left-back has been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Antonio Conte, and has been training away from the first-team squad during the summer.

Reguilon, who joined from Real Madrid two years ago, is heading back to the Spanish capital after a deal, without a buy option, was reached between the two clubs.

Osimhen agent rules out Ronaldo swap

Victor Osimhen’s agent has ruled out a move to Manchester United for the Nigerian forward.

A swap deal involving Cristiano Ronaldo had been mooted in gossip columns.

But Roberto Calenda said: “No negotiations in progress, no exchange.

“Victor Osimhen is a Napoli player and wants to play the Champions League with Napoli, after having qualified for it with pride, together with the coach and his teammates.”

Paqueta set to fly in for West Ham medical

West Ham will pay £36.5m up-front to sign Lucas Paqueta.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports on the Hammers agreeing a further £14.5m set up in add-ons after having a bid accepted by Lyon.

The Brazilian midfielder will fly into London for a medical tonight.

Real Madrid up pressure on Asensio

Arsenal target Marco Asensio has been asked to spell out his desires in the final days of the transfer window.

The Mirror say the winger can leave for £23.5m with his contract expiring in a year’s time.

Asensio wants game time ahead of the World Cup and will be a bit-part player at Real, with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes holding initial talks with the Gunners.

Sergio Reguilon prefers a move to Atletico Madrid amid interest from Lazio.

A loan move to LaLiga is on the cards, report TMW, after Atleti entered talks to send Renan Lodi to Nottingham Forest.

If that deal goes ahead, Forest having previously touted Reguilon, the Spaniard could swap the English capital for the Spanish capital.

Lokonga loan options increase

Roma have entered the running for Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Arsenal are considering sending the Belgian midfielder out on loan, with AC Milan interested too.

Sky Sport Italia claim Roma have enquired for Lokonga but remain focused on Olympiacos ace Mady Camara to bolster their midfield.
