Arsenal enquire for Paredes
Injuries to Oleksandr Zinchenko and Thomas Partey have pushed Arsenal into making a move for Leandro Paredes.
The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has an agreement with Juventus and a loan deal featuring a purchase clause worth £17m is under discussion.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports on Paredes turning the Gunners down to honour his original commitment with Juve, although the Serie A club are yet to reach a deal with PSG.

Thierry Henry has joined Cesc Fabregas’ quest at Como.
The Arsenal legend will be a shareholder in the Italian minnows after his old teammate signed for the team while also buying a stake.
He said: “I did not hesitate when this possibility was proposed to me because it is in effect a new chapter of my life.
“I spoke to both Fabregas and [Gianluca] Zambrotta, my former Barcelona teammate. Cesc will be the protagonist and will give a great contribution on the pitch, whether he is a starter or not.”
Manchester United complete £84million deal for Antony.
Work permit issues are likely to prevent Antony from making his United debut this week.
