Denis Zakaria, Chelsea’s new loan signing from Juventus, has not received his work permit yet having completed his own move to west London late on Thursday.

There is good news, however, with Reece James, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah all overcoming injury and illness to make themselves available this afternoon.

Thomas Tuchel can also select new £70million signing Wesley Fofana for the first time after his transfer from Leicester was completed on Wednesday.

The Blues boss may be tempted to offer Fofana an immediate debut but the 21-year-old is more likely to be thrown in against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday.
