How Man United are expected to lineup against Arsenal today

The Brazilian forward completed a huge move to Old Trafford on deadline day in a deal understood to be worth an initial £84m plus add-ons.

United registered the 22-year-old in time to have him available for this afternoon’s visit of Arsenal, although the lack of training time with his new teammates will likely see him start on the bench.

“(Thursday) he did his first training, individual,” Ten Hag said. “(Friday) we have a team session and Saturday we have a team session, so I will think about it and then we will take a decision.”

Anthony Martial, however, looks set to miss another game with an Achilles problem.

Given the tight turnaround in games, United could look to rotate. Casemiro and Fred are pushing to start in place of either Scott McTominay and Fred, while Victor Lindelof made his return to the bench for Thursday night’s win at Leicester.

Man United predicted XI (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Malacia; Casemiro, Fred; Elanga, Bruno Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford
