Zachery Ty Bryan has been arrested again for alleged domestic violence.
The Home Improvement alum was arrested on charges of second-degree domestic violence on New Year’s Day, per online jail records and People.
TMZ reports Bryan, 43, was arrested in South Carolina after Myrtle Beach police responded to a domestic issue at a home on January 1. The authorities concluded that Bryan had gotten into an alleged physical fight. He was subsequently arrested and taken to Horry County Jail.
A spokesperson for the Myrtle Beach Police shared with Page Six that Bryan was initially taken to a holding cell at their detention center on the evening of New Year’s Day.
He was then transported to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on January 2 as he was unable to make bail. He remains incarcerated.
The identity of the alleged victim remains unknown and other details about the alleged altercation were not revealed, Page Six added.

Bryan’s bond hearing has already occurred however his next court date hasn’t been determined as of yet, the outlet adds.
The shocking mugshot shows Bryan with a mark along his left cheek and a pinkish mark on his forehead. He also appears to have some residue along his lip and chin.
The New Year’s Day arrest is Bryan’s latest brush with the law. In 2024, he was arrested twice for DUI.
He has also been arrested previously for domestic violence.
In 2023, Zachery served seven days in Lane County Jail in Eugene, OR and was sentenced to 36 months of supervised probation for domestic violence against an unidentified woman on July 28.
And in 2020, Bryan was sentenced to three years of bench probation and ordered to attend a batterer intervention program after being charged with domestic violence against his fiancée Johnnie Faye Cartwright at the same sherriff’s office in Oregon.
The Guardians of Justice actor has three small children – daughter Kennedy and twins Parker + Sequoia – from his three-year relationship with Cartwright.
‘I’ll always want what’s best for the father of my children,’ Cartwright told Us Weekly in 2023.
‘Trauma can bring struggles in many shapes and forms. It’s a horrible situation that’s going to be spun in so many ways. I’ve learned firsthand the truth will never align with what’s been put out there. I ask everyone to please be respectful of our privacy for the sake of the children and our families so the healing process can begin.’
Zachery also fathered four children – twin daughters Gemma + Taylor; daughter Jordana; and son Pierce – during his 12-year marriage to high school sweetheart Carly Matros, who filed for divorce in 2020.

He’s also served as an executive producer on independent films, and most recently, has made a name for himself as a conservative commentator on platforms like FOX News and The Daily Wire.
Bryan, who was born in Aurora, Colorado, has also appeared in the films True Heart and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
