Sam Thompson enjoyed a booze fuelled evening on Tuesday as he welcomed the new year at an exclusive London nightspot – without his long-term girlfriend Zara McDermott.
The TV personality appeared to be in a celebratory mood during an appearance at Kensington Rooftop Gardens with former Made In Chelsea co-star Reza Amiri-Garroussi and an extended group of friends.
In video footage shared across social media, Thompson, 32, is seen downing shots with his ‘NYE firm’ before hitting the dance-floor during a raucous night out at the west London venue.
But there was no sign of girlfriend Zara, 28, who chose to spend the night at home with her pet cat.
Sharing an image of the feline pet with Instagram followers, the former Love Island contestant – who has previously labelled herself a ‘crazy cat lady’ – wished followers a happy new year.
Thompson’s latest lads’ night out follows a recent appearance at a strip club, where he was accompanied by close friend Pete Wicks for a Christmas party with the team responsible for producing their Staying Relevant podcast.

The former Made In Chelsea star was the life and soul of the party as he stripped off his clothes and performed a pole dancing routine while someone placed a £20 note in his boxer shorts.
Again, Zara – whose social media presence has been restricted to cooking tutorials and family tributes over recent days – was nowhere in sight during the festive blowout.
The couple spent Christmas apart, with Thompson opting to spend the big day dressed as Santa Claus while delivering thoughtful gifts to members of the public on behalf of a local charity.
Sharing a post with Instagram followers, he wrote: ‘Bit of a different Christmas this year. I got put in touch with a charity. The Camila Batmanghelidjh foundation to be exact.
‘They were struggling this year after the sad passing of Camila, and I was lucky enough to get the call up to deliver gifts across London to possibly the nicest, most selfless bunch of people I’ve ever met.
‘What could have been another standard Christmas has turned out to be one that I’ll never forget!
‘Thank you everyone that let me into your homes, and to be honest I think there’s no doubt I’ll be back next year if you’ll have me!’
Zara was among the first to praise his charitable efforts, writing: ‘So proud of you, it’s so lovely that you chose to give up your Christmas Day to help others.’
