Rihanna cut a low-key yet fashionable figure on Friday night as she headed to Prive private dinner club in New York.

The singer, 36, attempted to make an inconspicuous arrival to the venue beneath a baseball cap yet couldn’t help but garner attention as she rocked a stylish champagne sequin skirt with snakeskin boots. 

Rihanna’s longline skirt featured a split at the back and shimmered beneath the streetlights as she made her way down the street. 

The Umbrella hitmaker teamed the look with an oversized black jacket, a simple grey top and a huge fluffy brown bag. 

Despite her attempts to keep a low-profile, the mother-of-two still offered up a small smile as she strolled along with her head down.

 On Monday, content creator Ajay Porter, also known as Mystery Fashionist to his 98,000 TikTok followers, interviewed the Fenty Beauty founder – and she spoke about her major fashion regret from the early 2000s. 

‘Oh my God, why y’all gotta bring up old s**t?’ the hitmaker responded when asked about her biggest style faux pas by Mystery Fashionist, who has also interviewed Cardi B, Kevin Hart, and Adam Sandler. 

‘When I first started, and I was wearing like the baggy jeans, with the panties out,’ she admitted. 

‘What the f**k was I thinking?’ the Love On The Brain songstress asked in disbelief. 

When the interviewer said the trend had resurfaced in recent years as Y2K era fashion has made a comeback, the mom-of-two joked that it’s better left in the past. 

Rihanna then broke down what she was currently wearing, and declared, ‘It’s called growth, y’all!’

Her current outfit included a Christian Dior jacket paired with Yves Saint Laurent pants, snakeskin boots, and a studded black belt. 

The hitmaker told the fashion guru that she can’t live without a good New York snapback, fitted vintage jeans, and her ‘little speedy croc LV-monogrammed bag.’

Meanwhile a thrilled Rihanna takes a microphone and tells the crowd: ‘Mariah Carey is signing my t*t, y’all. This s**t is f*****g epic.’

After Mariah finished her handiwork, Rihanna proudly showed the final result to the crowd, and was heard saying: ‘Look at that s**t.’ 

The mom-of-two rocked a fur coat and sunglasses, and was pictured sharing a warm hug with Mariah before leaving.
