The Bachelor star opened up on what she described as one of the most mortifying moments of her life on her Life Uncut podcast, sharing how she made an awkward error at a party
‘I was starving because I was late to the party. I didn’t have dinner. So I went there and I was like, I’ll just get some of the finger food when I get there. And when you see a waitress come out with food, you like eyeball them the whole time,’ she explained.
‘So she walks towards me and I reach out and I grabbed some salt and pepper calamari and I’m like, thank you.
‘And she gives me a really weird look. And I was like, okay, that was rude.
‘So she walked past me and I looked to the people I was with and I was like, she was so rude. Did she not hear me say thank you?
However, the I’m A Celebrity Australia star revealed how she quickly realised she had made a huge mistake and had actually stolen another guest’s food.
Brittany revealed that she took some calamari from who she thought was a waitress, before quickly realising that they were another guest and she had stolen their food
Sharing the gaffe, she went on: ‘I eat my calamari. And then I turn around and make eye contact with her.
‘And she’s not a waitress, she’s a guest that ordered her own salt and pepper calamari and eating it. And I took the calamari off her plate.’
Brittany admitted that she did not apologise for the mishap but quickly fled the party amid the embarrassment.
‘I did not [go and apologise]… I didn’t double down. I didn’t go back for more. But I did in fact leave the party,’ she confessed.
