Princess Eugenie made her first Instagram post since being dragged into the new series surrounding Prince Andrew’s career-ending interview.
A Very Royal Scandal, a series dramatising the Duke of York’s 2019 Newsnight interview, dropped on Amazon Prime today.
Eugenie, 34, took to Instagram with her first post since the series dropped.
She shared a post made by her mother, Sarah Ferguson, honouring the Duchess of York’s late mother, Susan Barrantes.
Eugenie captioned the post: “Miss beautiful Granny Susie.”
Sarah’s original post read: “My much-loved mother Susie died 26 years ago today.
“She was far too young to be taken from us and I often reflect on the fact that at just 61, she was younger than I am now when she died in a cruel accident.
“I think constantly of her zest for life and her shining spirit.

“Like all of us, she made mistakes but she taught me to value each and every day and to always seek to treat people with kindness.
“I miss her greatly.”
Neither Fergie nor Princess Eugenie spoke publicly about A Very Royal Scandal.
Actresses were cast to play both royals, as well as Eugenie’s older sister, Princess Beatrice.

Princess Beatrice, played by Honor Swinton Byrne, featured heavily in the programme.
She could be seen accompanying her father to a meeting with the Newsnight team ahead of the interview.
Beatrice was also depicted as pleading with her father to go through with the interview after having second thoughts.
