Princess Eugenie has made her first Instagram post since “receiving an invite from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle”.
The Princess of York, 34, took to the social media site to “showcase her love of art” with several photographs.
She captioned the post: “Introducing the first in my new series showcasing my love of art.
“As some of you may know, I am a huge lover of art & a director at @hauserwirth – throughout 2025 I hope to share more of that part of my world with you.

“Starting with Monet and London: views of the Thames at the @courtauld Gallery.
“Monet was fascinated by the light and smog of London as it became an industrial city at the turn of the 20th century.”
Eugenie added: “He visited the city 3 times to paint some of his most remarkable impressionist paintings, Charing Cross Bridge, Waterloo Bridge and the Houses of Parliament.
“Fun fact: he stayed at the @thesavoylondon and could see both bridges from his window.
“I couldn’t get over the way he captured light on the water. The seriality of the work is almost like he’s taking photographs just like how we would in 2024 but his being in 1899.”
Eugenie’s post comes after a source claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex invited the Princess of York to the US for Christmas.
They said: “Harry and Meghan have invited Eugenie and Jack to join them in California during the holidays.
“It’s a very difficult position for Eugenie because she has also been invited to Sandringham.”

The source continued to tell The Express: “It would be so nice for the children to spend time with their cousins.
“The diary is very tight over the holidays but there might be a slot free around New Year’s time for everyone to come together at some point.”
Princess Eugenie has two children who are a similar age to their cousins, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
It follows the Princess of York’s absence from Princess Kate’s Together At Christmas event on Friday evening, where Eugenie’s older sister, Princess Beatrice, 36, represented the York family at Westminster Abbey.

The insider added: “Eugenie is in a difficult position because she’s always been close to Harry, but she is mindful of how that relationship could affect her standing with the rest of her family.
“She is always trying to manage a difficult balancing act, which can become quite tiresome at times. Eugenie doesn’t want to jeopardise the family’s renewed goodwill efforts.”
The source concluded: “Eugenie and Harry were at one point almost inseparable.
“They have maintained a bond in recent years and are keen for their children to share a close family connection as they grow up.”
