Princess Charlene of Monaco joined her husband Prince Albert for his traditional New Year’s Eve address, making a rare public speaking appearance alongside their 10-year-old twins.
The Monégasque Royal Family gathered together as Prince Albert delivered his annual speech, reflecting on what he described as a year of “challenges”.
The Prince, dressed in a smart navy suit, initially delivered the majority of his address solo whilst standing in front of a Christmas tree.
This marks only the second time the couple’s twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, have appeared in their father’s New Year’s speech, with their first appearance being in 2022.

The family’s presence delighted royal watchers, who later expressed their appreciation on social media.
Princess Charlene wore a classic navy gown, with her blonde hair styled in vintage-inspired waves.
Princess Gabriella matched her mother’s navy colour scheme, wearing a dress featuring a black sequin top and tulle skirt, paired with black patent shoes.
Her twin brother Prince Jacques followed his father’s formal style, appearing in a coordinating navy suit and tie.
The young princess’s sequinned ensemble drew comparisons to another royal fashion enthusiast, with observers noting that Britain’s Princess Charlotte, known for her love of sparkles, might appreciate the festive choice.
As Prince Albert concluded his address, his family joined him for a special moment of unity.
“In this season of celebration and sharing, our children join us in extending our best wishes to you,” Prince Albert said.
“May this New Year bring happiness, health and success to you and to all those you hold dear.”
Princess Charlene and the twins then offered their New Year wishes in both French and English.
The multilingual greetings seemed to resonate with viewers, who took to Instagram to express their appreciation for the Royal Family’s message.
The moment marked a touching conclusion to the Prince’s traditional address, which had begun with his reflections on the past year’s challenges.
