Princess Anne’s granddaughter Savannah Phillips showed her value to the Royal Family as she took charge of the younger royal generation during this year’s Christmas Day service at Sandringham.
The 14-year-old, who is Queen Elizabeth’s first great-grandchild, demonstrated her leadership skills at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Norfolk estate.
As King Charles led the Royal Family’s annual mass, Savannah remained attentive to her younger cousins throughout the gathering.
The teenager, who is 19th in line to the throne, coordinated with her aunt Zara Tindall in an elegant burgundy coat, which was revealed to be a recycled piece from her mother Autumn’s wardrobe.

Photos captured the teenager’s nurturing interactions with her younger relatives during the service.
She was seen chatting with Princess Charlotte, nine, and six-year-old Lena Tindall, who looked up at their older cousin with clear admiration.
The festive outing also showed Savannah sharing a lighthearted moment with ten-year-old Mia Tindall, who was playfully high-fiving her father Mike.
Ever attentive, Savannah was also photographed walking alongside Princes George, 11, and Louis, six, ready to offer support when needed.

Speaking to the Telegraph in 2019, Mike Tindall revealed the leadership dynamics among the young royals.
“We’ve got a great group of young ones in the family now. Lena and obviously Louis are similar ages and Mia’s sort of in between Charlotte and George, and then you’ve got Peter’s children Savannah and Isla who are just a little bit older,” he said.
The former rugby player noted that James, Viscount Severn, who is now 17, shares the leadership role with Savannah.
“James is, well not exactly the ring leader, but he’s the oldest. So, yeah, it’s going to be a good little group,” Tindall explained.

Savannah’s leadership role among the young royals has been evident in previous years.
At the 2018 Trooping The Colour, she made headlines by playfully shushing Prince George on the Buckingham Palace balcony, placing her hand over his mouth during the flypast.
Royal observers noted this moment echoed a similar scene from decades earlier, when Prince Harry covered Princess Beatrice’s mouth.
The following day, Savannah’s spirited nature was again on display at the Beaufort Polo Club, where she gave her cousin a playful push.
Living on Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park Estate, Savannah and her sister Isla remain close to their Tindall cousins, often seen enjoying outdoor activities together.
