Prince William has given a sudden boost to historic pub in the shadows of Windsor Castle after he shared a pint with Canadian comedian Eugene Levy for his “The Reluctant Traveller” series.

The future King’s visit his now seen The Two Brewers pub become an unlikely pilgrimage site for international tourists after his meaningful interview made headlines across the world.

The 233-year-old establishment has seen visitor numbers surge since the programme aired, with people specifically requesting to sit where William enjoyed his pint.

William chose Inch’s cider during his visit, priced at £7.50, though the pub did not charge him for the drink.

Mr Levy joined him with a Guinness at a corner table in the pub where the pair discussed William’s plans for the future.

Landlord Stuart O’Brien, who has run the pub for the past year, celebrated the significance of the royal visit.

“I think I may have to get a plaque made and put up on this table now,” he revealed.

The publican predicted: “I’m sure people will love coming here to sit where the future King had a drink.”

Mr O’Brien revealed he has already noticed the impact, with visitors arriving specifically because they saw the programme.

“Some people have already been in specifically because they saw the programme and knew about the pub,” he explained.

However, the highlight of the saga for Mr O’Brien remained having the Prince of Wales in his establishment.

“It really was a privilege to have him here in the pub – he was such a lovely guy,” the landlord told The Mirror.

Tourists from across the globe are making their way to the pub to experience a royal moment for themselves.

American pilot Stuart Fraser, 44, from Seattle, made a special trip after watching the show.

“I watched the programme and Prince William came across really well,” he said.

“I came here to the Two Brewers to have a pint where Prince William did the same. I really like the cider it’s very nice,” Mr Fraser glowed.

The Prince of Wales admitted he hoped to make changes during the chat with Mr Levy

Visitors from Germany have also been arriving, while Japanese tourists were spotted ordering the same Inch’s cider that William enjoyed.

The particular table William and Mr Levy sat at, located near the ladies’ toilets in the section called “That Bar,” has become the most requested spot in the entire pub.

While there, the Canadian comedian asked William about his future as King.

“I think it’s safe to say that change is on my agenda,” William explained

“Change for good, and I embrace that, I enjoy that change. I don’t fear it, that’s the bit that excites me, the idea of being able to bring some change. Not overly radical, but changes that I think need to happen,” he added.
