A man being hunted by police in connection with a spate of indecent exposure incidents at a pub has a striking resemblance to Vladimir Putin, social media users have said.
Officers want to speak with the despot leader’s bald-headed doppelganger after a man exposed himself days before Christmas to a number of people at The White Hart in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
The flashing incidents happened at around 11.50pm on Friday, December 20, and Thames Valley Police believe the man captured on CCTV may have vital information.
But people on Facebook couldn’t help but notice his uncanny likeness to the Russian dictator with one simply asking: ‘What’s Putin doing drinking in Oxford?’
Another quipped that they ‘didn’t realise Putin had connections to Bicester’.
A third thought the news at first was about Russia when it popped up on their feed.
While others suggested he resembled the original host of Crystal Maze Richard O’Brien or Gru from the children’s film Despicable Me.
Thames Valley Police released the appeal last week.
