Pete Davidson made a memorable return to Saturday Night Live on November 2 as he appeared in a musical skit alongside host John Mulaney.
The 30-year-old Staten Island native — whose exes united for a pajama party — joined the 42-year-old former SNL writer for a scene about a person asking to buy milk in the Port Authority Duane Reade.
Davidson, who was part of the SNL cast from 2014-2022, acted out the sketch with Andrew Dismukes before it amped up with a full-cast delivery of various parodied showtunes.
The first recognizable number was a spoof on Lion King’s Circle of Life as Kenan Thompson and Ego Nwodim sang about the milk.
Marcello Hernandez played a disheartened bottle of shampoo locked in a case as he and Mulaney performed a Sound of Music parody.

Bowen Yang appeared as a Greyhound bus driver as he put a spin on Master of the House from the show Les Miserables.
Chloe Fineman impersonated Timothée Chalamet as the program referenced the actor’s recent lookalike contest in New York City with a Cabaret tune.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams was mocked by Devon Walker for his alleged illegal associations with Turkey, singing to the melody of Prince Ali from Aladdin.
Elsewhere in the eight-minute sketch, Andy Samberg portrayed the bear that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. admitted to killing during his presidential campaign.
He sang to the tune of Hamilton’s Alexander Hamilton.
Finally, the skit was closed out with all the actors performing We Go Together from the closing scene of Grease.
This latest musical satire follows several others from Mulaney, including Airport Sushi, Diner Lobster, Subway Churro, and Bodega Bathroom.
Davidson last appeared on the long-running late-night show in October 2023, when he hosted an episode with musical guest Ice Spice.

Chappell Roan was the musical guest for Saturday’s episode.
Fans expressed excitement and shock when hours before the broadcast it was announced that Vice President Kamala Harris would make a cameo.
It comes two months after Roan was criticized for refusing to endorse Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
In late September, Chappell doubled down on her prior comments about the election after facing backlash for not officially endorsing a candidate.
The singer took to TikTok to clarify her stance, reiterating that while she plans to vote for Kamala, she isn’t making a formal endorsement because ‘there are huge problems on both sides.’
