GB News’ Patrick Christys has shared an adorable update on his baby son, George, as he takes an unexpected break from screens.

The Patrick Christys Tonight Show host welcomed his first-born child with GB News co-star Emily Carver in September.

The presenter shared this week that he was unfortunately recovering from an illness, but that George had been keeping him company.

Fans rushed to the comments to share joyous responses to the adorable photo of the smiling baby.

Patrick penned on Wednesday evening: “After bravely doing my best to infect as many people in the office as possible over the last few days, I have finally succumbed to the man flu.

“Hopefully I’ll be back on @GBNEWS tomorrow night. In the meantime, at least I have this little guy to keep me busy.”

The X post included one photo of various cold and flu medications, and another of George, smiling and looking snug in a blue robe.

Fans couldn’t resist gushing over the cute snap, with one writing: “All the best with the man flu & wee man is a real charmer by the looks of it.”

“Man, if that smile doesn’t warm your heart nothing will. Get well soon, Patrick,” a second beamed.

“That’s quite a cocktail, Patrick, get well soon,” another said, while someone else echoed: “OMG he’s adorable. Hope you feel better.”

“He’s gorgeous and the perfect medicine for you,” a fifth wrote.

Another added: “Rest up, Pat, hope you feel better soon! Try not to infect George or Emily.”

“Adorable little man,” someone else commented while one more enthused: “What a cutie he is.” (sic)

The People’s Channel couple announced the happy news that they had become parents in early September, before George made his GB News debut weeks later.

The proud pair introduced their son to viewers on September 22, where they both appeared alongside the tiny newborn.

They’d announced George’s birth on social media, with Patrick stating on Instagram: “He’s a very happy, healthy, much loved little boy and the beautiful Emily Carver was amazing throughout. Life lesson #1 George: Always love and respect your mother.”
